This was a presentation created by Hugh Heller for WDEE radio in Detroit. It featured the masterful music and lyrics of Dick Hamilton, who was responsible for many of Heller’s successful custom packages (WIBC/KVIL/KNX-FM etc.) Hamilton later went on went on to create Synergy, the You campaign and Listen to Your City for TM Productions.
I have to assume this was a station sales presentation to clients as opposed to a
jingle demo. While somewhat politically incorrect by today’s standards, it’s a good representation of the very out-of-the-box thinking that went on at Heller at the time. I first heard this in 1974, so I would assume an early 70’s birth date. I have been told that the voice of the “man secretary” was the late McLean Stevenson.
